01 What are cookies?
In short: essential cookies keep the site working. Analytics cookies are only set if you say yes.
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device on return visits, remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how you use the service. Cookies are not programs and cannot run code or carry viruses.
We use two kinds:
- Essential
- Necessary for the website and platform to function. These handle your login session, security protections on forms, and the record of your cookie choices. They cannot be turned off.
- Analytics
- Show us how visitors use the site, such as which pages are visited and how long visits last, so we can improve it. These are only set with your consent.

Browser storage
Our chat widget stores one value in your browser's session storage (developia_proactive_shown) so it doesn't open on its own twice in one visit. It is cleared when you close the tab.
04 Other services.
In short: Stripe's checkout page sets its own cookies; font and script services see your IP address but set no cookies.
- Stripe: when you pay, you complete checkout on Stripe's own page, which sets its own cookies to secure your payment. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts and unpkg.com: our pages load fonts and a script from these services. They receive your IP address to deliver the files, and set no cookies.
Our AI processing uses server-side API calls to our AI providers, listed on our sub-processors page. These are back-end calls and do not set cookies in your browser.
05 Control in your browser.
Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies directly. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the platform. For browser-level instructions, search "manage cookies" in your browser's help section.
06 Changes and contact.
We may update this page when we add new services, change providers, or in response to changes in applicable law. When we make changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If you have consented to optional cookies, material changes to how those cookies are used will be communicated to you before they take effect.
