Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of AIDEVELOPIA's platform and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. For how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

Who we are

AIDEVELOPIA provides AI-powered tools and automation systems designed to help individuals and businesses handle customer questions, support operations, and knowledge management. We are registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC Registration No. 9417767) under the business name AIDEVELOPIA TECHNOLOGIES.

Eligibility and account creation

To use AIDEVELOPIA, you confirm that:

Minimum age

You are at least 18 years old, or meet the legal age of consent in your jurisdiction.

Account accuracy

You will provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

Account security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. All activity under your account is your responsibility.

Business accounts

If you access AIDEVELOPIA on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Subscriptions and payments

Billing: Subscriptions renew monthly or annually unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. We will send a reminder before renewal.
Payment processing: Payments are processed securely by Stripe. AIDEVELOPIA does not store your card details.
Refunds: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. However, where the service is materially unavailable or not as described, you may be entitled to a refund under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018. Contact us promptly if you believe this applies to your situation.
Price changes: We will notify you at least 30 days before increasing your subscription price. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Account suspension and termination

You may stop using AIDEVELOPIA at any time by cancelling your account from the dashboard.

We may suspend or terminate your access for:

Violation of these Terms

Failed or incomplete payment

Misuse, abuse, or creating a security risk

Legal or regulatory obligations

On termination your access ends immediately. We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

General acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass security mechanisms
Use AIDEVELOPIA outputs to train a competing AI system
Share your login credentials or grant unauthorised access to your account
Attempt to disrupt, overload, or exploit the platform or its infrastructure

Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination without notice.

AI-specific acceptable use

When submitting content to your AI assistant or uploading knowledge base materials, you agree not to include:

Personal data of third parties without their knowledge and consent
Content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or designed to harass
Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
Confidential information belonging to a third party that you are not authorised to share
Content designed to generate harmful, illegal, or deceptive AI outputs

You are responsible for all content you upload. AIDEVELOPIA is not liable for outputs generated from content that violates these requirements.

Intellectual property

AIDEVELOPIA owns the platform

The AIDEVELOPIA software, design, trademarks, underlying technology, and platform outputs are owned by or licensed to AIDEVELOPIA. Using the service grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the platform. It does not transfer ownership of any platform component to you.

You own your content

The documents, FAQs, and knowledge base materials you upload remain your property. By uploading them, you grant AIDEVELOPIA a limited licence to process them solely to deliver the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any other purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law:

Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
AIDEVELOPIA is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the one month immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian consumer protection law.

Service availability and changes

We aim to keep AIDEVELOPIA available and working. However, we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. We are not liable for temporary interruptions but will communicate planned maintenance in advance where possible.

If we discontinue a feature you rely on materially, we will provide reasonable notice.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 (CAMA) and the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 (FCCPA).

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts. We encourage you to contact us first at contact@aidevelopia.com so we can attempt to resolve the matter directly before any formal proceedings.

Consumer disputes may also be raised with the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) at fccpc.gov.ng.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you by email or an in-platform notice before the changes take effect. Continued use of AIDEVELOPIA after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those Terms.
