Discord bot

Add the bot to your server, sync commands and use /developia.

Growth plan and above

Add the bot to your server

  1. ConnectOpen Discordconnection and click Connect Discord bot. Discord asks you to pick a server and approve the bot.
  2. Sync the commandsBack in your dashboard, click sync commands. This puts the slash commands into your server. Do it once after connecting, and again if commands ever go missing.
  3. Try itIn any channel, type /developia ask and a question.

The workspace owner can connect servers, and so can teammates who've been given Discord access under Team.

More in the Discord page

  • automation: let the bot join conversations on its own. See Proactive replies.
  • moderation: the mod-log channel and case log. See Discord moderation and tools, including the permissions the bot needs.
  • analytics and quality & latency: what members ask, how well it answers and how fast.

If commands don't show

  • Click sync commands again. Discord can take a moment to show new commands.
  • Check the bot is still in your server and has permission to read and send messages in that channel.
