Add the widget with the free plugin: paste your key and save.

Every plan No code

The free Aidevelopia AI Chatbot & Support Agent plugin adds your chat widget to every page of your WordPress site. You paste one key and save.

Install the plugin

  1. Copy your keyIn your Aidevelopia dashboard, open Websiteembed, pick WordPress and click show code. Copy the key shown under your unique code.
  2. Add the pluginIn WordPress, go to PluginsAdd New, search for Aidevelopia, then install and activate it.
  3. Paste the keyOpen SettingsAidevelopia, paste the key into API key and save. Leave API URL (advanced) as it is.
  4. Check itVisit your site. The chat bubble appears in the bottom-right corner.

When you save, the plugin checks your key with us and shows the result:

  • ✓ Key verified: you're done.
  • ✗ Key not recognized: copy the key again from the dashboard. If you regenerated it, use the new one.
  • ⚠ Could not reach Aidevelopia from this server: your host blocked the check. The widget usually still works, so check your site.

Once the plugin has checked in, your dashboard shows Plugin active with your site's address.

What the plugin does

  • Adds the widget to every page of your site, never to the WordPress admin.
  • Needs WordPress 5.8 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer.
  • Has no other settings. Colours, logo, welcome message and greetings are set in your Aidevelopia dashboard under Branding, and update on your site without touching WordPress.
  • Deleting the plugin removes its saved settings from WordPress.

Without the plugin

If you'd rather not add a plugin, paste the code from Websiteembed into a footer code box, for example with WPCode (Code SnippetsHeader & Footer, in the Footer box).

On WordPress.com (the hosted version), adding plugins or custom code needs the Business plan or above.
