Install on Shopify

Install the app, turn on the app embed and crawl your store.

Every plan No code

The Aidevelopia AI Support Agent app puts the chat widget on your Shopify store. There's no code to paste: you turn on an app embed in your theme.

Install the app

  1. InstallInstall the app from the Shopify App Store, or go to aidevelopia.com/shopify/install, enter your your-store.myshopify.com address and click Install. Approve the app in Shopify.
  2. Turn on the widgetIn Shopify, go to Online StoreThemesCustomizeApp embeds, switch on Aidevelopia Chat Widget and click Save.
  3. Teach it your storeIn your Aidevelopia dashboard, open Documents, click crawl website, then start website crawl. It reads up to 20 pages of your store, like your shipping, returns and product pages.

Installing creates your Aidevelopia account for you, on the Free plan. If you already have an account with the same email as your store, the store is added to it. We also email you a link to set your password; it works for 60 minutes.

Billing

Stores that install from Shopify pay through their Shopify bill, on the same plans as everyone else. Choosing a plan opens Shopify's own plan page, and your plan changes once Shopify confirms it. There's no separate card to add with us. See Plans and billing.

What the app can and can't see

  • The app asks Shopify for no store data: no orders, customers, products or stock. It only reads your shop's name, email and domain.
  • Your agent answers from the pages it crawls and the knowledge you add. It can't look up a customer's order yet.
  • It doesn't edit your theme code. Turning the app embed off removes the widget.

Re-run the crawl after you change prices, shipping or policies, so the answers stay current.

If the bubble doesn't show

  • Check Aidevelopia Chat Widget is on under App embeds for your live theme, and that you clicked Save.
  • Your Website page in the dashboard should show App installed with your store's domain. If it says uninstalled, reinstall the app from Shopify.
