Talking to a person
How visitors and members reach your team, and where you reply.
Your agent answers what it can. When someone wants a person, or the agent doesn't know, it hands over to your team. Here's how that works on each channel.
On your website
- The visitor asks for a personThey tap Talk to a human and leave their email, so you can reach them even if they close the page.
- You get an emailAnd the request appears in UnansweredFeedback.
- Reply in the dashboardOpen Websiteconversations (Web3 projects: Live Chat). Your first reply turns the AI off for that chat, and the visitor sees your messages in their open chat within seconds.
A chat closes after 30 minutes with no messages. If nobody replies within 4 hours, it closes and you get a note saying how long the visitor waited. With live handoff turned off in Websitesettings, requests reach you by email only.
On Telegram
- Talk to a human (shown when the bot couldn't answer) opens a ticket and messages the Telegram accounts you list under TelegramsettingsAdmin notifications. Reply to that message and the bot passes your answer on. Send
/closewith the ticket code to finish. If no admin is listed, or the message can't be delivered, you get an email instead. /escalatewith a note: you get an email, and it's added to Unanswered, Feedback.
On Discord
- Talk to a human pings the role you set under Discordconnection (human escalation). With no role set, you get an email.
/developia escalate: you get an email, and it's added to Unanswered, Feedback.
Close the gap
Every handoff is a question your agent couldn't answer. Add the answer from Unanswered so the next person gets it straight away.
